Senior Database Administrator

Work From Anywhere (Remote)

Digital health innovator Zyter|TruCare is seeking a Senior Database Administrator / SQL Developer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple hosted customer SQL Server environments from SQL Server 2014 to 2019
  • Assist DBA team in on call support and after-hours availability for customer upgrades, script executions, and maintenance
  • Assist with ad hoc and custom reporting using SQL for customers including management and collaboration with offshore reporting team
  • Assist with Cloud roll out and AWS deployment of SQL infrastructure in both RDS and EC2 instances and manage customer environments in the cloud
  • Maintain and implement SQL Server Replication between customer OLTP and ODS environments
  • Maintain and develop monitoring tools utilizing our custom monitoring solutions and Sentry One
  • Develop processes around and maintain database security
    Develop custom Stored
  • Procedures and SQL Agent Jobs
  • Automate repeated DBA tasks using SQL Agent Jobs and PowerShell
  • Properly install and configure SQL Server installations
  • Respond to customer requests via Jira tickets, and on occasion work directly with customers on solutions to issues and custom processes

Background & Experience

  • 8+ years Database Administration Experience
  • Strong TSQL Skills a Must
  • Strong Database Administration skills a must
  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Good communication skills required as this is a customer facing position
  • Strong technical background, ability to troubleshoot server and SQL issues
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, command line, and PowerShell
  • Knowledge of SSIS and installing and executing SSIS packages
  • Experience in AWS services (AWS EC2, RDS, Data Migration Services etc.)
  • Experience with SQL Server Always-On Availability Groups a plus

Recently, Hussam initiated the modernization and migration of the TruCare platform to the Cloud, proudly transforming it into a cutting-edge SaaS solution for both small and large customers.

Before joining Zyter|TruCare, Hussam held a significant role at HealthcareSource, where he skillfully managed a team of developers in designing and building multi-tenant SaaS-based talent management web solutions tailored for the healthcare industry. Since joining Zyter|TruCare in September 2022, Deon has been responsible for a team that includes product managers, business analysts, and UI/UX experts. Sanjay Govil

Chairman of the Board

Sanjay Govil is an exemplary entrepreneur and visionary leader, currently serving as the Chairman of the Board at Zyter|TruCare. This role comes on the heels of the significant rebranding in May 2023 of Zyter Health and Casenet TruCare, marking a new chapter in the company’s commitment to value-based care. 

Zyter Health, known for its cloud-based telehealth, home health, and remote patient monitoring services, and Casenet TruCare, a leading enterprise care management platform, have unified under the Zyter|TruCare brand to enhance their impact in the healthcare sector.

Mr. Govil began his association with Zyter in 2017 as its Chief Executive Officer, a position he held for over six years, leading the company through groundbreaking advancements in digital health. His leadership was pivotal in Zyter’s acquisition of Casenet® LLC in 2021, significantly expanding the company’s reach to manage healthcare for 11% of the U.S. population. Zyter’s suite of products has been instrumental in improving clinical operations and patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs through enhanced interoperability, communication, and collaboration.

Her professional journey began at Vlocity as a UX designer, where she excelled in leading design discovery and delivery projects for a diverse global clientele. Following Vlocity’s acquisition by Salesforce, Ning transitioned to a role as a product manager at Salesforce Industries’ Health Cloud. Here, she played a vital role in the development and launch of features tailored specifically for the Payer and Provider markets.

Ning boasts a robust academic foundation. She completed her master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction from the Georgia Institute of Technology. As part of the dynamic team, she excelled in managing go-to-market strategy and operations, overseeing company-wide reporting, and providing critical support for customer billing, earnings & churn analyses, and sales commissions. Her astute insights and analytical prowess were instrumental in optimizing operational efficiencies and fueling Revinate’s growth in the competitive hospitality technology landscape. 

 Prior to her tenure at Revinate, Mahima honed her skills in Sales Operations at Box, a renowned cloud content management company. This experience not only refined her acumen in healthcare technology but also provided her with visionary insights into the evolving landscape of the industry.

What truly sets Lara apart is her 14-year tenure as a compassionate and skilled nurse, providing care at the frontline in critical settings such as ORs, EDs, and Inpatient Units. Her invaluable experience at the bedside instilled in her a deep understanding of the challenges faced by healthcare providers and the needs of their patients, making her a natural advocate for patient-centric solutions.

Inspired by the potential of technology to revolutionize healthcare, Lara ventured into the early days of Population Health, leveraging data and insights to improve the lives of individuals across the United States. This pivotal experience laid the groundwork for her subsequent role at Ascension Health, where she spent five years as a leader in Clinical Strategy, Operations, and Quality. Here, Lara played a pivotal role in supporting a multidisciplinary team of Nurses, Social Workers, and Health Coaches to drive success in various Value-Based Care Arrangements for Medicare, Medicaid, and Self-Insured Employee populations.

With a diverse and impressive background, Kevin’s expertise spans over two decades in the healthcare technology landscape. Prior to his current role at Zyter|TruCare, he held key positions at several industry giants, contributing significantly to their growth and success. Kevin was the General Manager for Healthcare & Life Sciences at Salesforce, where he played a pivotal role in overseeing the Health Cloud product lines. His tremendous leadership skills were further recognized when he assumed the role of Chief Customer Officer at Salesforce, where he emphasized the importance of putting customers at the heart of business strategies. Kevin came to Salesforce from Vlocity (a Salesforce acquisition) where he led both the Health and Government businesses.  

Before his role at Salesforce, Kevin held executive leadership positions for health companies ranging from convenient care to health insurance. He also served as the first Chief Innovation Officer (CINO) in the American health insurance industry. Kevin’s passion for entrepreneurship and innovation led him to found GuideWell Inc., a technology company that delivered integrated member and patient engagement and care solutions. This entrepreneurial spirit remains ingrained in his approach to problem-solving and transforming healthcare concepts into companies with clear customer value.  

One of Kevin’s most significant contributions to the industry is the development of the methodology for designing healthcare business decisions into software (decision-driven CRM). Throughout his career, Kevin introduced agile delivery methodologies, customer experience (CX), and design thinking into the organizations he worked with. A board-certified spinal surgeon of exceptional repute, Dr. Sethi continues to maintain an active clinical practice, holding special permissions to perform procedures at hospitals in the Washington DC metropolitan region, affiliated with the Johns Hopkins system. Natalie Schibell, MPH

VP of Product Marketing

Natalie is the VP of Marketing Strategy, Intelligence, and Insights at Zyter|TruCare. She leads market intelligence initiatives and guides strategic decisions across all departments. With a keen focus on data-driven insights, she orchestrates the collection, analysis, and dissemination of market data to propel Zyter|TruCare to the forefront of the digital health industry.

Natalie also directs the company’s DOD Skillbridge Program, leveraging her expertise to mentor transitioning service members in their professional development journey.  

Prior to this role, Natalie was the VP, Research Director for Healthcare at Forrester, overseeing the vertical’s research agenda planning, content production, and client engagement. She also served as a VP, Principal Analyst at Forrester, assisting healthcare and life sciences organizations in leveraging technology to drive quality healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. Her research and analysis have been globally cited in publications such as the WSJ, WSJ Pro-Venture Capital, Forbes, NBC News, USA Today, The Business Journals, Business Insider, Fierce Healthcare, Healthcare IT News, STAT News, LeMagIt, VentureBeat, Axios, Healthline, Modern Healthcare, and many others.

Brian’s journey to his current position has been marked by a series of stellar achievements and leadership roles. Prior to his role at Zyter|TruCare, he served as the Vice President of Operations and Insights for Healthcare and LifeSciences (HLS) and Finance at Salesforce. During his tenure, he made significant contributions as the company’s Sector GM for Payers/Delivery Systems, with a keen focus on provider network management.  

Before joining Salesforce, Brian excelled at OneCall, the nation’s leading ancillary provider in Workers’ Compensation, where he held various executive leadership roles for seven years, most notably as the Senior Vice President of Provider Relations. Throughout his almost two-decade-long career, Brian has cultivated a diverse background in the healthcare space, encompassing management roles in retail health, corporate wellness, post-acute care and rehab, health insurance, and workers’ compensation.
