Position Summary
Zyter|TruCare is seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing to contribute to the quality assurance efforts of our enterprise healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Cypress or Protractor, solid understanding of QA best practices, and strong SQL skills. This role requires independent execution, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively within a cross-functional Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Development
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress or Protractor to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of web-based applications.
Framework Design & Maintenance
Construct and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks tailored for dynamic application environments.
Manual & Automated Testing
Develop test plans, define test scenarios, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure complete application test coverage.
Database Validation
Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure accurate data flow and integrity across systems.
Quality Assurance Strategy
Participate in the design and execution of QA strategies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.
Defect Reporting & Tracking
Identify, document, and track software defects using QA tools. Work closely with development teams to drive resolution.
Independent Execution
Work autonomously on test planning, execution, and reporting, while coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure test completeness.
Communication & Collaboration
Present testing outcomes, defect analysis, and improvement suggestions clearly in both verbal and written formats.
Required Experience and Skills
Proven experience in developing test automation scripts using Cypress or Protractor.
Strong understanding of QA principles, test planning, test case development, and execution.
Solid SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks for web-based applications.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with version control and CI tools such as GIT, Maven, and Bitbucket.
Experience in healthcare domain applications is a plus.
Exposure to test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is beneficial.
