Position Summary
Zyter|TruCare is seeking an accomplished and strategic Director of Finance & FP&A to lead its U.S. finance operations and build a high-impact financial planning and analysis function. This hands-on leadership role combines financial oversight with forward-looking analytics and business partnership, playing a critical role in guiding the company’s financial health and long-term strategy.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive performance management, resource optimization, and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations
- Oversee accounting operations: general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and compliance with US GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end close and preparation of financial statements.
- Manage tax compliance (federal, state, local) and optimize the company’s tax position.
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ASC 606, and other relevant standards.
FP&A and Strategic Finance
- Lead development of a weekly rolling financial plan—tracking revenue, costs, and cash flow.
- Own variance analysis vs. forecast/budget and deliver actionable insights with root-cause diagnostics.
- Build and maintain dashboards that proactively surface risks and opportunities in financial performance.
- Partner with business leads (Sales, Product, Services, Cloud Hosting) to drive cost improvement and margin optimization.
- Support deal modeling, pricing strategy, and investment decisions using data-driven analysis.
Leadership and Enablement
- Mentor and manage a Financial Analyst focused on cloud hosting operations and pricing analytics.
- Drive implementation and enhancement of FP&A tools, models, and reporting systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to embed a culture of financial rigor, transparency, and proactive management.
Required Experience and Skills
- 10+ years of finance experience, including accounting and FP&A leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of SaaS/PaaS metrics, cloud infrastructure costing, and enterprise revenue models.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with FP&A tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, NetSuite Planning) a plus.
- Experience managing financial plans at a weekly cadence in dynamic environments.
- Familiarity with healthcare, tech-enabled services, or B2B SaaS is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA or MBA preferred).
