Position Summary

As a Jira Expert at Zyter|Trucare, you will join a team that is passionate and driven towards transforming the healthcare experiences of millions of patients and the healthcare professionals that provide value-based healthcare services.

The Jira Expert will report to the Engineering Leader and will be responsible for managing and optimizing Jira, a widely used project management and issue tracking tool. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient utilization of Jira within an organization, enabling teams to collaborate effectively, track progress, and deliver high-quality projects on time. You will play a vital role in configuring, customizing, and supporting Jira to meet the specific needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Jira Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for Jira, managing user accounts, permissions, and workflows. Configure and customize Jira to align with the organization’s project management processes and requirements.
  • Jira Configuration: Implement and maintain custom fields, screens, workflows, issue types, and dashboards in Jira to meet the needs of various teams and projects. Continuously improve and optimize Jira configurations based on feedback and evolving requirements.
  • Issue Tracking and Management: Guide and assist teams in effectively utilizing Jira for issue tracking, task management, and project planning. Train and support users in creating, updating, and prioritizing issues, and ensure proper issue linking and traceability.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Create and maintain reports, filters, and dashboards in Jira to provide meaningful insights into project progress, team performance, and key metrics. Generate and distribute regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting important project information.
  • Integration and Automation: Collaborate with other tools and systems to integrate Jira seamlessly into the organization’s technology landscape. Develop and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and plugins to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Jira often integrates with other tools and systems, such as Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and more. An expert should understand how to set up and manage these integrations, allowing for seamless data flow and collaboration between different platforms.
  • User Support and Training: Provide guidance and support to users at all levels, including administrators, project managers, and team members. Conduct training sessions, create user guides, and offer one-on-one assistance to promote efficient and effective usage of Jira.
  • Best Practices and Governance: Stay up to date with the latest Jira features, add-ons, and best practices. Establish and enforce Jira governance guidelines, including naming conventions, security protocols, and data integrity standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve Jira-related issues, such as performance bottlenecks, system errors, or integration problems. Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to troubleshoot complex issues and implement appropriate solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience as a Jira Administrator or Jira Expert, with in-depth knowledge of Jira’s capabilities, configurations, and administration.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Jira administration, including managing users, workflows, schemes, and permissions.
  • Experience with Jira customization using custom fields, screens, issue types, and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with Jira add-ons, plugins, and integrations with other tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack).
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and their implementation in Jira.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Jira certifications (e.g., Jira Administrator, Jira Service Management) are a plus.
  • The candidates written and verbal English communication skills should be above par.

Before her tenure at Zyter|TruCare, Ning honed her skills in the enterprise cloud CRM domain, especially in the healthcare and communications arenas. Her professional journey began at Vlocity as a UX designer, where she excelled in leading design discovery and delivery projects for a diverse global clientele. Following Vlocity’s acquisition by Salesforce, Ning transitioned to a role as a product manager at Salesforce Industries’ Health Cloud. Here, she played a vital role in the development and launch of features tailored specifically for the Payer and Provider markets.

Ning boasts a robust academic foundation. She completed her master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her previous experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer for a multi-billion-dollar health plan, where she demonstrated her expertise in advancing value-based strategies within the largest non-profit health system. 

As a forward-looking CVO, Joanne is a strong advocate for the integration of advanced technologies, data analytics, and predictive insights to amplify the impact of value-based care. Todd Riemensnyder is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the healthcare software industry, currently serving as the Vice President of Client Success at Zyter|TruCare. With an unwavering commitment to the success of our clients, Todd spearheads efforts to enable them to provide optimal care to a diverse array of members in the most effective and efficient manner, all while upholding the highest standards of quality and cost management. 

As a leader of the Client Success team, Todd places utmost importance on forging true and lasting partnerships with our valued clients. Working hand in hand throughout the entire customer experience, his team ensures a seamless journey from the initial sales process to key implementation milestones and beyond, with a focus on post go-live support and ongoing account and relationship management. 

 With nearly 15 years of dedicated service at Zyter|TruCare, Todd has made significant contributions across various facets of the company. He has held pivotal roles, from Managing Strategic Account Executive in Account Management, working closely with our largest clients and projects, to leading successful implementations within the Delivery Success organization. Todd’s journey at Zyter|TruCare began as a key contributor to the foundation of the TruCare offering as part of the Product Management team, cementing his expertise in driving product excellence. 

Prior to joining Zyter|TruCare, Todd honed his expertise as a Senior Consultant at eHealthPartners, where he played a crucial role in developing a comprehensive implementation methodology for Care Management applications. His experience further extended to working as a lead analyst, overseeing the successful implementation of the CareAdvance application at TriZetto Group. Additionally,Todd has a background in teaching at Western International University, covering essential subjects like Critical Thinking, Organizational Theory, Supervision & Leadership, and Ethical Issues in Business, reflecting his passion for fostering knowledge. 

Todd holds a Master of Business Administration degree, with a focus on marketing and e-business, from the prestigious Pennsylvania State University, where he also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.

Navin Sethi

MD Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Navin Sethi is a distinguished leader and Chief Medical Officer at Zyter|TruCare, where he serves as the vital link between the clinical and technical aspects of the organization. With a relentless dedication to aligning the company’s products and services with medical best practices, regulatory standards, and the needs of healthcare providers and patients, Dr. Sethi plays a pivotal role in driving the organization’s success. 

Dr. Sethi takes on a multifaceted portfolio of responsibilities. As the torchbearer of clinical validation, regulatory compliance, product development/strategy, and medical education and training, he ensures that Zyter|TruCare remains at the forefront of innovation and delivers solutions that positively impact the healthcare industry. 

Dr. Sethi’s journey of academic excellence began at the prestigious University of Virginia, where he distinguished himself as the valedictorian of his class. He later graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, solidifying his position as a leading medical professional. He further honed his expertise through an orthopedic residency at the Washington University School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship at Emory Spine Center. 

A board-certified spinal surgeon of exceptional repute, Dr. Sethi continues to maintain an active clinical practice, holding special permissions to perform procedures at hospitals in the Washington DC metropolitan region, affiliated with the Johns Hopkins system. His pursuit of excellence extends to his research contributions, with numerous publications on orthopedics and spine. Dr. Sethi’s wealth of knowledge and expertise have made him a sought-after educator, sharing his insights on a national and international scale. 

Dr. Sethi’s exceptional contributions have earned him well-deserved recognition as one of the top 50 spinal surgeons in America. Multiple publications have also bestowed upon him the honor of being named a top doctor. Beyond his clinical roles, Dr. Sethi’s visionary leadership has extended to founding hospitals, serving on the governing boards of surgical centers, and assuming the role of Chief of Surgery. Natalie Schibell, MPH

VP of Product Marketing

Natalie Schibell is the VP of Product Marketing at Zyter|TruCare. She leads a global team of Product Marketers and Product Documentation Teams and their collaboration with multiple technical teams responsible for the creation and implementation of the entire product portfolio 

Prior to this role, Natalie was the VP and Research Director for Healthcare at Forrester and oversaw the vertical’s research agenda planning, content production, and client engagement. She was also a VP and Principal Analyst at Forrester and assisted healthcare and life sciences organizations with leveraging technology to drive the delivery of quality healthcare and improve patient outcomes. Her research and analysis have been widely cited in the WSJ, WSJ Pro-Venture Capital, Forbes, NBC News, USA Today, The Business Journals, Business Insider, Fierce Healthcare, Healthcare IT News, STAT News, LeMagIt, VentureBeat, Axios, Healthline, Modern Healthcare, and many other professional publications.  

Prior to her role at Forrester, Natalie served as a Public Health Analyst at the CDC’s National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases. She deployed with the Community Interventions and Critical Populations Task Force where she spearheaded digital transformation and operations coordination for the National Wastewater Surveillance System, a $19B data surveillance project mitigating COVID-19. A US Navy Veteran and former Lieutenant Commander, she also served twelve years as a Medical Service Corps Officer, leading large-scale multidisciplinary teams to winning performance as a Director of Public Health, a Director of Medical Readiness, and a Director of Operations for Healthcare Talent Acquisition.  

Natalie possesses 15 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and directing fundamental change and improvement in policy, strategy, and process. She has accelerated digital transformation and growth at the world’s largest healthcare and technology organizations. Natalie holds an MPH in Environmental Health Sciences from New York Medical College’s School of Health Sciences and Practice where she is a member of the Delta Alpha Chapter of Delta Omega, the National Honor Society for Public Health. With over 30 years of extensive experience in enterprise software architecture and development, Hussam brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in leveraging modern technologies to create innovative solutions.

His track record speaks of building and leading high-performing architecture teams, cultivating a culture of excellence, and championing continuous learning and professional growth within the organization. 

Hussam embarked on his journey with Zyter|TruCare in 2013, initially serving as an Engineering Manager leading multiple engineering teams in the evolution of the TruCare Population Health platform. Recognizing the importance of being a servant leader, he has been a guiding force for the engineering teams, providing unwavering support in solving complex challenges during the design and development phases of projects. Recently, Hussam initiated the modernization and migration of the TruCare platform to the Cloud, proudly transforming it into a cutting-edge SaaS (software as a service) solution for both small and large customers. 

Before joining Zyter|TruCare, Hussam held a significant role at HealthcareSource, where he skillfully managed a team of developers in designing and building multi-tenant SaaS-based talent management web solutions tailored for the healthcare industry. Prior to this role, he demonstrated his expertise in various senior-level, hands-on software development positions, leaving a measurable impact at every step of his journey. 

Hussam’s passion for continuous learning and his commitment to honing his craft led him to earn a master’s degree in software engineering and computer science from Northeastern University, solidifying his expertise in the ever-evolving field of technology.

Brian Zoya

Vice President of Support & Partners, Zyter|TruCare

Brian Zoya is the Vice President of Support and Partners at Zyter|TruCare. In this pivotal role, Brian spearheads operational efforts to provide unwavering support to Zyter|TruCare’s valued customers. Additionally, he leads the strategic framework for partners, playing a key role in augmenting ZTC’s cutting-edge products and solutions. 

Brian’s journey to his current position has been marked by a series of stellar achievements and leadership roles. Prior to his role at Zyter|TruCare, he served as the Vice President of Operations and Insights for Healthcare and LifeSciences (HLS) and Finance at Salesforce. During his tenure, he made significant contributions as the company’s Sector GM for Payers/Delivery Systems, with a keen focus on provider network management.  

Before joining Salesforce, Brian excelled at OneCall, the nation’s leading ancillary provider in Workers’ Compensation, where he held various executive leadership roles for seven years, most notably as the Senior Vice President of Provider Relations. Throughout his almost two-decade-long career, Brian has cultivated a diverse background in the healthcare space, encompassing management roles in retail health, corporate wellness, post-acute care and rehab, health insurance, and workers’ compensation. 

Brian’s academic accomplishments include an undergraduate degree from Kent State University and an MBA in Leadership Development from Jacksonville University. He is a passionate advocate for working with start-ups and reorganizations, highlighting his ability to excel in dynamic environments. Previously, Harish played a pivotal role in architecting Infinite’s Industry Platform Solutions vision, driving transformative business outcomes for customers.
